I have lived in Wall Township for over 20 years and am honored to have been reelected as a Committeeman for Wall Township. have served the public my whole life, first as a Police Officer for NYPD, then as a Narcotics Officer, then as a Firefighter for FDNY in Lower Manhattan, and finally as a licensed funeral director in both New York and New Jersey. I have owned and operated the Orender Family Home for Funerals since 2003.

When I retired from New York City, I moved to Wall Township because of the openness of the town. Let's face it, where else can you be 50 minutes from New York City, live by the beach, near farms and great golf courses, and have your children attend great schools?

I have been a member of the Board of Adjustment for over ten years. I am a member of the Board of Directors for Common Ground Children's Grief Counseling Center, where I was the 2016 Honoree, a member of the Wall Kiwanis Club, Friendly Sons of Shillelagh, Knights of Columbus, Manasquan Elks, Shore Wildlife, and a Eucharistic Minister for St. Denis Church, Manasquan. I was a member of the Wall Community Alliance Board and the Recreation Board.  I have also coached baseball and softball for North Wall Little League, was a football coach for Wall Pop Warner, and a travel softball coach for the Wall Wizards. I also coached baseball for St. Rose Grammar School.

I was honored by the NJ Sharing Network's Third Annual "Circle of Life Celebration" for Most Supportive Funeral Home, and in 2007 I was honored by the NJ Center for Outreach and Service for the Autism Community Development Achievement Award.

I will continue to serve the Wall Township Committee with the same passion that I have served the public for 35 years.  I raised my children here, and I hope my children will raise their families here too.
