The wall Township Historical Society is hosting Lisa Laird From Lairds  Applejack  Distillery at our regular meeting on March 18 at 7 PM at the Algor-Barkalow Museum. Lairds  is the oldest distillery in the United States and even made Apple Jack for George Washington   It is still in operation today. Lairds  is located in Scobieville and still produces applejack and Wine. Come  and listen to Lisa, who is an eighth generation Laird, talk about what it was like in the beginning and during the prohibition. The meeting starts at 7 o’clock on March 18 in the school house on the museum grounds. The address is 1701 New Bedford Road in Wall. The phone number is 732-681-3806. We are always looking for new members and donations are very much appreciated for much-needed repairs. We hope you can join us”
