What to recycle? Where to take it? The Township does not accept the following hazardous materials: used motor oil, antifreeze, cleaners/solvents, garden chemicals and paint. These materials should be kept in original containers when possible and should not be mixed. Hazardous materials can be disposed of at the Monmouth County Permanent Household Hazardous Waste site in Tinton Falls. Please call them at 732-922-2234 to make an appointment. They are open Tuesday – Saturday from 8:00AM – Noon and 1:00PM – 4:00PM. Please remember it is illegal to dump any of these materials in or on the ground, down any drain or in with the regular garbage. Please note that EMPTY paint cans, with the lids off, can be brought to the Wall Township Recycling Centers.

Recycling items are to be put at the curb in 32-gallon trash cans -- no plastic bags. Items not recycled are concrete products, roofing materials, batteries and propane tanks.
