Please note that all dogs residing in Wall Township will need to have a new license by January 31, 2005.  Renewal applications were sent out on December 30, 2004, to all dog owners who are currently listed as active in our database.  If you are a new dog owner, you will need to complete an application and mail it to our office with the proper documentation.  (See application link below.)    We will start issuing 2005 licenses on January 4, 2005.  In order to obtain the license for 2005, State Law requires that your dog’s rabies vaccination be valid through October 31, 2005.  If your dog’s rabies vaccination expires anytime between January and October 2005, you will need to get your dog re-vaccinated before renewing your license in January.  For example, if your dog’s rabies vaccination expires on June 1, 2005, even though the vaccination is still valid, you will not be permitted to obtain your 2005 dog license in January until the dog is re-vaccinated. Remember, all licenses must still be renewed in January of each year; therefore, you may be required to obtain a rabies vaccination before its expiration date.
