On the Issue of Crime Rate

Good News for Wall residents!

The Asbury Park Press [Sunday, June 19, 1998, page A10] reported that Wall Township has one of the lowest crime rates in Monmouth County. According to the Press survey, Wall Township ranked number 41 out of 48 towns, (number one representing the highest crime rate). Furthermore, the survey showed a 52.06 percent decrease in crime from 1982 to 1996. The Press also indicated that out of 216 New Jersey towns of similar size and demographics, Wall Township ranked in the bottom quarter.

What does all this mean? It adds up to a safe and happy place to live and work!
