February 18th Town Hall Presentation - This is the text of the Township Committee's presentation on Wall's Affordable Housing Obligation and the 1st proposed amendment from the February 18th, 2009 Town Hall Meeting.

Wall Appellate Brief - In the Fall of 2008 Wall Township filed a notice of intent to challenge COAH's Third Round rules. On February 6th, 2009, our attorney actually filed the brief and accompanying papers challenging the COAH regulations. You can read the brief that accompanied the suit in the attached file. We believe our team has done an excellent job of articulating the inadequacies and inequities of the third round rules and are hopeful the court will see it the as clearly as it is explained in the brief.

20-Town Appellate Brief - Twenty Towns in NJ joined a challenge of the COAH Third Round rules. On February 3rd, 2009 that brief and accompanying papers were filed. You can read the brief for that challenge in the attached file. Like our own Wall Township brief, this brief is also very well done. Any relief in the form of a favorable decision from either our own Wall Township challenge, the NJLM of challenge, this 20-Town challenge or any other challenge against the COAH Third Round rules will benefit all the towns in New Jersey equally. Any win associated with any of these challenges will be a win for every NJ municipality, regardless if they are officially named in the challenge or not.

NJ League of Municipalities Appellate Brief- Wall Township participated with 257 of the 566 municipalities in NJ by providing financial support for and thus joining a challenge of COAH's Third Round rules prepared by the NJ League of Municipalities (NJLM). The brief and accompanying papers were filed on January 5, 2009. You can read the executive summary of that challenge in the attached file.
