Before going to the Recycling Center, please be sure you have a valid township recycling sticker (PDF) on your rear-view mirror!

PLASTICS: (#1 and #2 Pourable Bottles ONLY - pourable neck smaller than body)

Recycling Fees

These items are accepted at the Township Recycling Centers but are subject to the following fees:
Tires (per tire) $5.00 1/4 of a truck load of construction debris $25.00
Single door $5.00 1/2 of a truck load of construction debris $50.00
Single Window $5.00 Full truck load of construction debris $100.00
Can of mixed Building Materials $5.00 Refrigeration units $15.00


Trash/Recycling Holidays
There will be no pickup of household garbage/recyclables on the following holidays:
  • New Years Day
  • Martin Luther King's Birthday
  • President's Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veterans' Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • The day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day

Trash/Recycling Holiday Schedule


Monday Holidays - Collection schedules will be the following day. For example - Monday trash/recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, normal Tuesday trash/recycling will be picked up on Wednesday, normal Wednesday trash/recycling will be picked up on Thursday.  All Bulk will be collected Friday.
 
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Holidays
- The collection days before the holiday will not be affected. All collection routes that were to be picked up on the holiday or the days after the holiday will be pushed back by one day. Bulk will be collected on the normal schedule. Thursday holiday bulk will be collected on the Friday after the holiday.

Friday Holidays - Household trash and recycling schedules will not be affected. All Friday bulk will be collected on the Thursday before the holiday.

Thanksgiving Week - Trash Schedules will not be affected.  Recycling normally collected on Thursday will be collected on the WEDNESDAY BEFORE Thanksgiving. Bulk pickup scheduled for this week will be collected AFTER the holiday - bulk pickup will take place the THURSDAY AFTER Thanksgiving Week.

Electronic Recycling


As of January 1, 2011, state law prohibits electronic equipment from being left at the curb. All electronics must be delivered to either of our recycling centers on Tilton's Corner Road or Monmouth Boulevard.
